Behold! My October 2008 Cheap, Cheesy & Dirty Halloween MIX!
"They Come Back from the Dead Mix"

Micheal Kamen & Orbital - Event Horizon (Nhyrvana Mashup)
Screwface - Flesh Eater (General MIDI Remix)
Antiform - Boombox (Screwface Remix)
Atomic Hooligan - Wait Til You're Sleeping
Headphonic - Sprudel Wasser
Far Too Loud - Dis Da Rasta
Screwface & Autobots - Flesh Eater (Original Mix)

Nhyrvana's They Come Back From the Dead Mix! click here to listen!
(update: Feb 2012 - if you want the download, email me on soundcloud or on djnhyrvana at yahoo.com)

So these were most of the tracks I was going to play at Barnyard Boogie. Since that's not happening, I decided to throw them together for a quick and dirty mix, and to add in some Halloween "mood" enhancers. HA! I didn't put in typical Halloween songs because so many other people have done awesome podcasts with them already (like city_of_dis!!)
I'm still not entirely thrilled with the sound levels but oh well.

Can you recoginze and identify all the movie quotes I've thrown in? =D

Happy Halloween!

mood: diggin' it

8tracks compilations for your listening pleasure.
The songs play in a random order (unfortunately) but I've compensated a bit with their creation. These are NOT mixed. Think of them more like a streaming online verion of an old skool mixtape. You can jump to the next track during play, however you can not return to the previous track. (Or you can bookmark my 8tracks main page - http://8tracks.com/nhyrvana)

NEW:
Nhyrvana's "Girl-step" drum & bass sampler.
Nine tracks of various drum & bass flavored music with a lighter edge.
The direct URL link is HERE.

Have a good one!

Ah hahahaha....new interview with Mr J. ZaBoom Boom.

I love his reaction when he's told he's been nominated for an award. (hee!!)
Also...I am STARK RAVING CRAZY for the LED light displays on the walls that act like huge EQ level graphs. That is seriously simple in design but the visual effect is so excellent and carries a lot of impact. I'm seeing a LOT of that type of new decor styles in European and South American clubs, where they have ditched the usual lighting (the cans, the disco balls, the smoke machines, the strobes...which frankly are so old, tired and 1995.) and instead have integrated the lights into the interior design more comprehensively. There is one club that recently opened in Eastern Europe where the only lighting is embedded INTO the cieling to create this undualting wave of light and color. It's GORGEOUS and so sophisticated.

Lastly, the music playing through most of this clip is James remix of one of Ladytron's tracks. I'll have to hunt down which one.

Anyway, more music goodies later.

Love!
